An uptown morning in New York City: All within walking distance started with a morning visit to Tiffany & Company on 5th avenue.  The most famous jewellery store and location in the world!  The store is newly renovated (yay! But also sad as it’s classic look was so iconic….).  Rockefeller Center, most famous during the holiday season with the giant Christmas tree in front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza is in this area as well.  In summer the area where the ice rink is located is usually a restaurant seating area but this year was transformed into a retro roller rink where you could rent old-school purple roller skates with red laces while 70s music played.  So cool!  And always, ALWAYS! visit FAO Schwarz, a beloved toy store with so many cool things inside; and outside: a toy soldier doorman that is always happy to pose for a picture.  He loved posing with Lady.  She was a little down the toy store is one of the only places in the city that is not dog-friendly (was really hoping to recreate Tom Hanks famous "Big" movie scene on the giant piano!) so while her kids shopped, she went to nearby Kate Spade with me to look at shoes.  They kindly gave her some cold refreshing water to drink while her mom browsed the store.
